Our Assist. Chief Steve Reeser was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in late August 2014 and was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks. There is a benefit being held for him on Oct. 25, 2014 to assist him and his family with some unexpected expenses due to this accident.
Penndot and Gannet-Fleming will be a public meeting at the Woodward Twp. Vol. Fire Co. on April 16th, 2014 from 6-8 PM regarding the proposed changes to Route 220 Hwy. in Woodward and Piatt townships. The public is encouraged to attend this open forum meeting and review the proposed changes.
Today our 1991 Pierce Tanker is leaving Station 2 for its new home with Station 33, and our new Midwest Fire 3000 gallon Tanker is officially in service.
The members of the Woodward Twp. Volunteer Fire Company recently took delivery of a new 3000 Gallon Midwest Fire Tanker. This Tanker is replacing our 1991 Pierce 1500 gallon tanker.
Linden, PA - A longtime social member of the Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company passed away at home Saturday June 30, 2012. Keith "Bubba" Lynn assisted in the fire company in many capacities by helping out at fundraisers and overall being a good friend to all.

Linden, PA - 10 year old Conrad Mosier of Montoursville visited the firehouse today with his family to attend the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Conrad was born July 12, 2000 and lived in Linden at the time. On September 23, 2000 he went into arrest and was not breathing.

The members of the Woodward Twp. Volunteer Fire Company celebrated their annual awards banquet at Haywood's on the Water. Awards that were given was 1st and 2nd place Top Fire/Rescue Responders award, 1st and 2nd EMS Top Responders award, Chiefs award, and Presidents award.
