If you are interested in volunteering with the Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company there are many ways you can help.
Volunteers needed for the following:
Firefighters: This job includes fire suppression, vehicle rescue operations, hazardous materials operations, patient care, rescue operations, and assisting the public in many aspects.
Emergency Medical Technicians: An emergency medical technician provides basic life support for medical or trauma victims in need of assistance.
Fire Police: Fire police protect firefighter and EMT's from the dangers of oncoming traffic, and assist with all aspects of traffic control on emergency and non-emergency incidents.
Fund raising: Participate in assisting with all the fund raising operations the company participates in. Currently we do Bingo, Tractor Pulls, Dinners and Craft fairs.
Building and Grounds: Volunteer in assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the fire station and all the grounds.
Training is provided at no cost to the members for whatever job they may chose to participate in. You are not limited to one skill, members can specialize in one or participate in all activities.
